Margaret Lucille Rogers, 85, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at her home.
Margaret was born in Jackson County, Kentucky to the late George and Leona Lamb Hale. Margaret worked many different jobs, however, she retired from Dresser Industries. She was an excellent seamstress and made many beautiful quilts. She was a member of the Pentecostal faith.
Margaret was a kind and loving person. She cooked for you if you were hungry, listened if you needed someone to talk to, and gave love to all who needed it. She loved God, her family, and her dog Dutchess. She will be dearly missed by family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest; two children, William Rogers, and Keith Rogers; and three siblings, Hershel Hale, Norma Hale and Orville Hale.
She is survived by her children, Danny (Cathy) Rogers, Greg (Teresa) Rogers, Pam (Bruce) Kates, and Mark Rogers; twelve grandchildren, Shane (Angie) Rogers, Josh (Nikki) Rogers, Teri (William) Webb, Robert Rogers, Justin (Jamison) Rogers, Amanda (Troy) VanWinkle, Michael (Heather) Kates, Jamie (Ben) Kirby, Mathew Kates, Kevin (Stephanie) Rogers, Kaley Ashley Rogers, and Kaitlyn Rogers; twenty-two great grandchildren; one brother, Ronald Hale; and four sisters, Nancy Mackey, Clara Campbell, Debbie Holderbaum, and Sandra Hale.
Graveside services will be 11am Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Pilot Knob Cemetery with Bro. Travis Jackson officiating. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers and her granddaughters will serve as honorary pallbearers. Burial will follow the service. Condolences may be left at www.lakesfuneralhome.com
