Julia Ann Farmer Gabbard

Julia Ann Farmer Gabbard age 71, widow of Ronald Gabbard, passed away Monday Jan. 11, 2021 at her home. Julia was a long-time office manager for Southern Madison Water district and had been a member of the Bethel Baptist Church. Julia was born in Clay County to the late E.L. and Anna Lee Bowling Farmer, and she was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Don Farmer and Clinton Farmer.
Julia is survived by her son Brad Gabbard, her daughter Veronica (Roy Lucas) Robbins, her brother Wendell (Linda) Farmer, and her sister Josie Burnell, her grandchildren: Allison (Dustin Kates) Gabbard, Sean (Erica) Gabbard, her great-grandchildren: Finn Gabbard and Madison Norris, 4 nieces, 4 nephews, 1 great-nephew, and 6 great-nieces.
Funeral services will be Thursday Jan. 14, 2021 at 2 pm at Lakes Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Davis officiating, burial will be in the Berea Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday beginning at 11 am – 2 pm at Lakes Funeral Home. The family will observe state mandates for facial coverings and social distancing for all services.
