I really enjoyed knowing you for the last ten years. He was a really kind hearted man and was straight shooter - which is rare. He was eager to help and was a real blessing in my life and career. I’ll really miss you man. Wish I had a chance to see you more recently. I regret the couple times I almost picked up the phone recently and didn’t.

Joe was a good person who had a heart of gold. Always appropriating kindness and respect, even whenever such, perhaps, would be hard to prescribe. He treated everyone the same, without biase and easily made friends, welcoming anyone to conversation and laughter. I always enjoyed the limited time we were able to hang out. I knew him since he was a young boy, as was I. I knew his family who were hard-working, honest people and I can only try to sympathize with how they are feeling. I offer over my condolences and prayer requesting that our Lord provide the necessary comforts and strength to see this tragedy through. He will be surely missed!

Joe was a kind, sweet young man that would help anyone in need. He and a co-worker rescued a woman from flood waters on University Drive not thinking about his own life, he went in the home and brought her to safety. He would help us when we were moving and when he would visit, he would help us move big "stuff" that we couldn't move. We'll miss Joe's laughter, his kind words, but most of all we will miss him.
