Obituary

Everee Rose, born May 28, 1937, in the community of Red Lick, Madison County, Kentucky, the son of the late Melvin and Frances Bicknell Rose, passed away Saturday night, December 28, 2019 at The Terrace Nursing Home.
Everee worked at Westinghouse/Phillips Lighting in Richmond, Kentucky, for many years. He was also a U.S. Army veteran. Everee was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith, and he and his wife Joyce Doyle Rose were among the last surviving founders of the Berea Evangelistic Center (formerly Liberty Avenue Trinity Holiness Church) in Berea, Kentucky. He loved the Lord and helped many preachers of the Gospel.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Joyce Doyle Rose and her parents, Cecil W. and Cora Rector Doyle. He is survived by a special cousin, Wanda Pennington and many extended family members.
Funeral services will be 1pm, Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Osborne and Bro. Harry Revel officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the Saylor Cemetery in Rockcastle County. Visitation will be prior to the funeral from 11am to 1pm at the funeral home.
