I will never forget Charlie and Bessy came up to see my dad and we were having a get together with everyone while they were there. Dad needed something from the store so I said I would go and invited Charlie to come with me. Now I just got my license to drive and Charlie was in the passenger seat. Now mind you, Charlie was hard of hearing. I took off in reverse quite quickly and Charlie grabbed the dashboard with both hands. I asked Charlie "you OK Charlie" as I was laughing. He looked at me as white as a sheet and said "do what buddy". I was crying I was laughing so hard because he was holding the dashboard so tight. It became a thing after that happened, that when he saw me, he would say, "do what buddy". I will never forget that memory. Please kiss my dad Jim and Uncle Pokey. Love you!! Jowana
