Billy Gene Sandusky, age 73 of Berea, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Billy was born in Middletown, Ohio to Gertrude Lawson Berry and the late Claude Sandusky. He was a retired carpenter and attended New Hope Pentecostal Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. In his spare time, he enjoyed singing, playing his guitar and being with family. He really enjoyed going to watch his grandchildren compete in their sporting events and cheerleading. He was a very loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Margie Lipps Sandusky, three children, Billie Jean (Trenton) Clontz, Jeff (Carla) Sandusky, and Kenny (Melissa) Sandusky; his mother, Gertrude Berry; five grandchildren, Brianna Clontz, Brendan Sandusky, Jackson Sandusky, Walker Sandusky, and Kenley Sandusky; ten siblings, Roy (Ann) Sandusky, Betty (Bill) Wilcoxson, Gail (Mike) Lewis, Patty (Sam) Ceraolo, Linda (Ben) Hucker, Larry Sandusky, Charlene Lind, Ricky Sandusky, Ronnie Sandusky, and Donna (Jeff) Hamilton.
Funeral services will be 1 pm, Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Crestview Holy Sanctuary with Bro. Greg Cress officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow at Madison County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday at Crestview Holy Sanctuary from 11 am to 1 pm. Pallbearers will be David Eden, Jordan Lipps, Chris Lipps, Patrick Lipps, Aaron Blanton, Tim Alexander, Caleb Alexander, and Jerad Taylor.
