Beulah F. Pingleton Johnson, age 76 of Berea, passed away at her home with her family by her side on Wednesday, August 26, 2020.
Beulah was born in Cartersville, Kentucky to the late Dewey and Stella Kidwell Pingleton. She retired from Phillips Lighting/Westinghouse in Richmond and was a member of the Valley Baptist Church on Copper Creek Road. In her free time, she loved to go to yard sales, work in her flower garden and spend time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Paul Johnson, her siblings, Helen (Andrew) Feldman, Charles “Cornbread” Pingleton, Phyllis Dean Pingleton, Wanda Faye Pingleton, and Herbert Austin Pingleton, and a great granddaughter Kayleigh Curtis.
She is survived by her three sons, Anthony (Tiffany) Anglin, Jeff (Regina) Anglin, Daniel (Anita) Anglin; six siblings, Mitch (Wilma) Pingleton, Vernon (Janice) Pingleton, Darrell (Roberta) Pingleton, Velma Bolton, Gerald (Jeanette) Pingleton, Albert Pingleton, and Sam Pingleton; one sister-in-law, Donna Pingleton; seven grandchildren, Tiffany (Derreck) Hurst, Jordan Anglin, Miranda Anglin, Parker Anglin, Emma Anglin, Samantha Shepherd, and Lexie Neeley; six great grandchildren, Kennedy Curtis, Kayden Curtis, Kinley Anglin, Ayden Shepherd, Addison Shepherd, and Annaston White; a host of nieces and nephews; and a very special friend, Dee Sizemore.
Funeral services will be 11 am, Saturday, August 29, 2020 at Valley Baptist Church on Copper Creek Road, with Pastor Jeff Draper and Bro. Chris Davidson officiating. Burial will follow in the Madison County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6-9 pm at Valley Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be Jordan Anglin, Derreck Hurst, Sam Pingleton, Darrell Pingleton, Albert Pingleton, Gerald Pingleton, and Parker Anglin.
